Norfolk - December 2020

2020 has proved disasterous for holidays due to Covid-19. June, August and October trips were all cancelled. Desperate to escape, we booked a two week trip to Happisburgh in Norfolk. We are glad we did; the cottage was perfect, the location spectacular. We spent two weeks relaxing, cooking up a storm, taking Jake out on walks and visiting various places in the local area.

At this time of year, no matter where we are in the world, there are always Christmas decorations. Anticipating that this would be lacking Will thoughtfully bought a mini tree with lights and decorations. This was totally overshadowed by the six foot tree, tinsel, garlands and fairy lights at the cottage. It looked very festive and made us feel at home.

We found the cottage at this website https://www.norfolkcoastalholidays.co.uk/ and cannot recommend it highly enough for an "away from it all" break in the Norfolk Countryside.
