
Withernsea Youth Action who provided and managed all of the games and fun activities for children on the day utilising gallons of water in the process and ensuring a great time was had by all.

Withernsea Town Council. Kindly provided the use of Valley Gardens venue for the Pirate Festival. The help and advice of the Council staff, Mayor and many of our local Councillors is greatly appreciated.

We are featured in the May 24 Edition of Pirate Plunder.
Pirate Plunder is an independent title published thrice a year in May, August and November for The Pirate Brethren of the British Isles. It aims to encourage the fund- raising activities of pirate crews by promoting pirate festivals and other events where charitable pirates are to be found

Children’s Author Rhiannon Findlay for her kind donation of activity sheets. Unfortunately these could not be used on the day due to the amount of water being splashed around. However, they have been put to great use by the local youth clubs and library.

Smile Foundation is a Yorkshire-based infrastructure charity leading the way on community voice and insight, health development, digital and making resources go further. Thanks to the Smile Foundation who provided a grant to aid in the production of the Withernsea Pirate Festival.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The Do It for East Yorkshire community grant is for voluntary and community groups as well as town and parish councils in the East Riding. Obtaining this grant has greatly improved the standard of the Withernsea Pirate Festival by enabling us to book more entertainment.
