Pirate Festival Commemorated in Withernsea Town Feature

The hugely talented local artist, Jill Harrison painstakingly refinished the “Welcome to Withernsea” characters on the Prom.

In her words “These characters have been in my kitchen/dining room for last 8 weeks. #townsmart asked me to ‘titivate’ which, being the person I am, meant sanding to neutral, priming and starting again. Wanted to bring Withernsea in to each of them. Loved it! Proud football team, park run, Pirate Festival, fishing competitions and Lancaster Bomber flyover”.

Grant awarded by Tedder Hill Community Wind Farm Fund

We are pleased to announce we have been awarded a small grant by Tedder Hill Community Wind Farm Fund. It will go some way to help with the costs of staging the Festival.
